A few little known facts I’ll share:

Non-Medicare

• if your income and/or family size has changed in 2023.
• Your application should be updated within 30 days of a change in residence, household size or income
• You can purchase a “standalone” dental or vision plan any time during the year.

Medicare Plans

• If your birthday is the 1st of the month, Medicare begins the 1st of the preceding month.
• You may change your Medicare Supplement plan carrier during your birthday month (CA residents).
• You can make a 1 time change to your Medicare Advantage plan January 1st through March 31st.
